This should be sold with the piston. I’m not sure why you would design a piston that can’t be used with an oem base gasket. the first one I installed I new nothing about the .5mm base gasket and the engine lasted about 30 minutes before it blew the wrist pin bosses off the bottom of the piston. Destroyed the cylinder, crank and damaged the head. I liked the design of the piston but I’m not sure I’ll be pushing them on anyone else.
