    The better pistons

Last year I used my first wossner Pistons with success. I ordered 2 more for 2019
Taking them out of the box was a surprise. These new ones look like blower pistons. Stronger in every area that I need. Perfect finish. Just doing the porting today so the rest of the story comes on May 18 at El Mirage, Ca. I forgot about 2 day delivery that was a complete surprise. You will like the service.

    Yamaha yz85 land speed racing

I've been racing a Yz 85 based A-100 gas in land speed Racing for 4 years. Shifting at 13,500 is tough on pistons. I started having the crown invert but not hole in my Wisco pistons made in the US. They were still 4 point siezing with .2mm clearance! I was introduced to Wossner at El Mirage Dry lake in So California by "Big Balls", John Noonan. He found me 2 pistons and I could see where there was a stronger crown. This piston is a little heaver than the Wisco, however, it has a superior pin that is lighter. I put the first one in at Bonneville Speed week after turning a Wisco inside out. The Wossner 49.5mm piston survived the whole week and went on to finish the season at El Mirage. After siezing the ring in my last run now shifting at 14,700, I think I might have found my limit? The surprise at tear down was that, with a hone and ring, I could have used that piston again! No skirt siezing no crown issues. Here I am ordering pistons for this season and you can bet i'll be using Wossner pistons in my new EX 250 Kawaski based A-250-Gas Land speed bike. Thanks!
