5 star Customer Service

I recently acquired a Wossner Piston Kit with a second hand KLR650, in NSW Australia. As my year model didn't seem to align with the applicable models the Kit was designed for, and not being able to find answers in any of the KLR Forums, I penned an email to Wossner, and didn't really expect an answer, as the product is discontinued, and I wasn't the person who purchased the piston kit. Not only did I get a detailed, positive reply, but despite it being 10pm on a Saturday night in Australia, the response was in my inbox before I checked my emails on Sunday morning. Hoping I'll be able to return to sing the praises of the product, after I get it installed over the next few days. Thanks Wossner.

Changed my KLR for the better

My 2008 KLR650 was consuming oil (a problem that year), so I chose the Wossner 1mm-over piston to fix this, and to boost power. It succeeded on both counts. The bike has much more power (compared it to my friend's stock KLR and he couldn't believe the difference), and it has used maybe 100 ml of oil in 5,000 km — used to consume about a litre for the same mileage before.

Wossner piston for KLR650

I've installed two Wossner pistons, 1mm oversize, and 2mm oversize, both high compression (11:1 CR). No issues. Must burn premium at all times. These pistons work well, more power, zero oil consumption, an excellent alternative to JE for the KLR.
